Logitech G603

Logitech G603The Logitech G603, like the other 2 previously mentioned models, is geared for gaming. You can find this generally for under $70.  Like the other two, the G603 boasts up to 12,000 dpi and works with PC, Mac, Chrome and Android devices.

The model still has 6 programmable buttons but only has 1 user profile. This can be a problem if you are sharing the mouse or are playing multiple games as you will need to take time out to reprogram the mouse.

With the Logitech G603, you have the option to run it with either 1 or 2 AA batteries which are not included.  It is easy to quickly switch between HI and LO modes with the flick of a switch. In HI mode, G603 delivers peak performance with LIGHTSPEED 1ms report rate and up to 500 hours of non-stop gaming. Logitech G602

Logitech G602Like the previous model, this mouse can run on 1 or 2 AA batteries or Bluetooth.  1 Battery is removable to adjust weight and balance.  It works with Windows 7, Mac OS, 10.11, and Chrome OS.  In HI mode you will be able to non-stop game for up to 250 hrs.  In LO mode the endurance will be increased to up to 9 months with standard usage.

This model does have 11 programmable buttons but only 1 profile. All the buttons are easily reprogrammable to in-game actions or macros. The button configuration makes push to talk communication easily within reach, even for those of us with smaller hands.

Sensitivity is 2,500 dpi which means larger movement of the mouse will be required compared to the other previously mentioned models.  This may become a detractor if precision-like marksmanship is needed in your game.

Also, there is an added 1 ms of delay between mouse click and in-game response.  This may not mean much if you are playing something like Sims but can mean a world of difference in a game like Fortnite.
